Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), invites applications for headmasters in senior secondary schools in various categories under education department. According to released notification the total recruitment for 6,421 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online at onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in before 28 March 2022.

Education Qualifications:
- Candidate should be citizen of India and a residelrt of Bihar State
- Candidate must be post graduate fiom recogrrized university with at least 50% marks. For the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Extemely Backward Class/Backward Classl/ Persons with disabilities/women and Economically Baclcrvard Class, 5% relaxation shall be given in the minimum required marks. The degree of 'Fazil' and the degyee of 'Aacharya' granted from the Maulana Maztrarul Haque Arabic & Persian University, PatnalBihar State Madarsa Fducation Board and Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University respectively shall be treated as equivalent to the Post graduation.
- Must be B.Ed/B.A.Ed./B.Sc. Ed. From recogrized institution.
- Qualified in the 'Teacher Eligibility Test' conducted for teachers appointed on or after 2012.
Experience:
- Minimum l0 Years of continuous service on the post of Secondary Teacher in State Govemment School under Panchayati Raj lnstitution or Muncipal Body lnstitution.
- Minimum 12 Years of continuous service on the post of Secondary Teacher in School having pemanent aftiliation from C.B. S.EA.C. S.E./B.S.E.B.
- Minimum 08 Years of continuous service on the post of Senior Secondary Teacher in State Govemment School under Panchayati Raj Institution or Muncipal Body Institution.
- Minimum l0 Years of continuous senice on the post of Senior Secondary Teacher in School having permanent affiliation from C.B.S.M.C.S.E./ B.S.E.B.
The calculation of experience shall be made on the basis of date ofjoining or from the date of acquiring training qualification, whichever is later.
Age: The minimum required age to apply is 31 years and the upper age limit is 47 years.
Application Fees:
- Candidates belonging to general OBC/other states will have to pay Rs 750 as application fee
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Females, and PH will have to pay Rs 200.
