The CyberShikshaa initiative is a flagship capacity-building program aligned with the Digital India mission, aimed at strengthening India’s cyber security workforce by empowering women engineers and students. Launched in 2018 by the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) in collaboration with Microsoft, and supported by the Government of India’s Information Security Education & Awareness (ISEA) program, CyberShikshaa focuses on skill development, employability, and inclusion.
Under the broader vision of Digital India, these courses ensure that women from Tier II and Tier III cities, semi-urban regions, and rural India gain access to high-quality cyber security education, irrespective of geography or career stage.
